This privacy policy describes how ProtosAxiom (operated by Alex Sterling) handles personal data on protosaxiom.com.
What I collect
- Contact form submissions. When you fill out the contact form, I receive your name, email address, optional company name, the service category you selected, and the message you wrote. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Analytics data. This site uses Google Analytics (via gtag.js) and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site traffic. These services collect anonymous information about your visit, including approximate location (city/region level), device type, browser, referring website, and pages viewed. They do not collect personally identifying information unless you submit it through the contact form.
- Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. Cloudflare may set cookies for security and performance purposes. No advertising or tracking cookies are used beyond these.
What I don't do
- I don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- I don't use your data for advertising or retargeting.
- I don't combine analytics data with information from other sources to identify individual visitors.
How long I keep it
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for any resulting business relationship. You can request deletion of your information at any time by emailing [email protected].
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default retention settings (typically 14 months) and Cloudflare's standard analytics retention.
Your rights
If you are a Delaware resident, the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act gives you the right to access, correct, or delete personal data I hold about you, and to opt out of any sale or targeted advertising (which I don't do anyway). If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you similar rights. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
Changes
I may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
